Anthony Asenjo

S. Anthony Asenjo  has over 20 years of experience in athletics – including baseball and Muai Thai kick boxing .  He developed and furthered his athletic career playing independent baseball.

 

Anthony has coached baseball at all youth levels – and holds certifications from MLB Coaching, Cal Ripken and is  a certified batting instructor by Mike Epstein. 

 

Devoted to youth baseball, Anthony owns and manages baseball travel teams and has helped oversee over 200 Baseball Players. Prior to focusing all of his attention and dedication to helping Student athletes achieve their goals Anthony owns several business in the media and marketing industry.

 

For over a decade Anthony has been instrumental in helping student-athletes at the National level achieve their dream of playing ball with the top College Athletic Programs in the country. His incredible network and strong relationships with hundreds of college coaches across the country serves Ace Of Spades student-athletes and their families exceptionally well.

Anthony is currently scouting armature baseball players for the international Red Sox League and various colleges.  As an Associate scout for these organization it allows Anthony to see talent from many countries.

 

Ivan Rusova

Former MILB Player for the Giants, Brewers & Mets

Advisor , Player Recruitment & Development

 

As a teenager Ivan played in The Canadian Thunderbirds Elite baseball Organization from 2001 to 2004. Upon graduation of program declined baseball scholarships from Xavier University, University of New Mexico and Chipola JC in Marianna Florida in pursuit of a Professional career.  He signed a professional contract with the San Francisco Giants July 2005. Ivan played with Giants from 2005-2008, got signed as minor league free agent by Pittsburgh Pirates in July of 2008 to April 2009, with Milwaukee Brewers in May of 2009 to spring of 2010.  New York Mets in the spring of 2010 brings 7 professional years of experience and first-hand knowledge of baseball operations in Canada.

Ivan has spent the last 6 years specializing in providing young elite level baseball athletes with the necessary connections to have the young athletes showcased helping create a greater opportunity for exposure to college and major league scouts. As well as preparing athletes for top showcases with advanced level training techniques. Eager to learn, eager to help you achieve your personal and athletic goals.  Considered as an expert in baseball awareness, and a lifelong student of the game.

Julio Solano

Former MILB Player for Mariners , Indians, and Astros

Player Coach & Scout

 

Julio comes to us with more than 45 years of baseball knowledge from major leaguer to director of baseball operations now turned mentor/advisor.    A major leaguer with the Seatle Mariners , Houston Astros and the Cleveland Indians from the late 80's to early 90s  he brings and old school feel of the game with new coaching styles and training techniques he has picked up from professional academies all  over his native land the Dominican republic where he is often featured and guest instructs in some of major league baseball's most prestigious baseball complexes and facilities. Now a major contributor to Ace of Spades Sports as  director of player development, we are lucky to have him guiding all of our athletes from amateur to the professional level.

 

 

Mayke Cabrera

Advisor , Player Recruitment & Development

 

Mayke (Mike) is Former MILB Player for the LA Dodgers as well in Independent Baseball with over 6 years of Professional Baseball experience. Mike was a late bloomer who started playing baseball at the age of 15. With great coaching, determination and perseverance he was able to work his way up to 'AAA' in the Los Angeles Dodgers farm system. Mike, now works as a Hitting instructor training up and coming athletes in Miami, FL.  He continues to work with multiple MILB players in the offseasons helping improve their swings by applying various techniques learned throughout his playing career. He has mentored, trained and guided many of his players in the right direction helping them obtain various D1 scholarship offers. Mayke uses advanced level techniques to get the best out of all of his students. He strongly believes that every hitter is different and should be molded as such, working on what is going to maximize their individual swings and improve the key components of their swing including balance (from start to finish), timing, and explosion.

Mayke also coached the 12U travel team that ranked 2nd in the nation under USSSA in 2015. He has experience working with early childhood development players as young as 4 years old to the professional level, he is a constant student of the game and always looking learn on improving as a coach/instructor and mentor.
